Host a Foundation Series Workshop

Zone’in Programs Inc. invites you to participate in a health and education professional development initiative by hosting a workshop in your area. Addressing delays in child development, the Foundation Series Workshops are presented by pediatric occupational therapist Cris Rowan.

Hosting a Foundation Series Workshop offers you the benefits of bringing innovative, evidence based information to your staff and community in a simple and cost-effective manner.

Process to Host a Workshop

Date and Location: Contact Amy Dickson adickson@zonein.ca to choose your date and location e.g. school, hospital, child care centre, community use room, or hotel. The location should be wheelchair accessible and quiet. A projector screen, and a TV/VCR is also required.

Specifics: Zone’in requires a minimum of 25 full day participants. We provide three free workshop registrations in exchange for workshop organization and advertising, provision of venue and refreshments (coffee/tea/juice/pop, muffins/cookies) and photocopying handout packages. Once the workshop minimum participants have been met, Zone’in will send each participant a follow-up information sheet, indicating directions to the workshop.

Promotion: Zone’in Programs Inc. will post your name as the host, workshop date and location at www.zonein.ca and provide you with workshop advertisement flyers and brochures to use for promotion. Cris Rowan is also available to be a guest on local radio shows, or provide an interview with local media. If host is unable to achieve minimum number of participants, the workshop will be cancelled on the deadline date at no cost to host.

Registration: The workshop flyer will direct registrants to www.zonein.ca for online registration.
