Techno toys
Hi Leslie,
I’m a pediatric occupational therapist and sensory specialist with expertise on the impact of technology on child development and would like to comment on women’s techno toys and relationships.
Connection to technology is causing a triple disconnect – from self, others and nature. As reality TV becomes the new “self”, many women turn away from those they value the most – their partners and children. Gone are the dining room tables, replaced by take out and the big screen. Fear of the big unknown limits access to nature, increasing use of technology.
