• attention problems
• behaviour problems
• aggression
• sleep problems

Children who can’t stop using technology, even when they know it’s not good for them, may have a technology addiction. Often children are not aware of how much technology they are using. When they find out, it’s good to schedule a balance between technology use, and activities you need to grow and succeed.

You, my friend, are our future. If you do not learn how to manage and balance technology use with healthy activity, then we have no future. Examples of healthy activities are:

• riding bikes, building forts, climbing trees
• make an obstacle course out of scraps and have a race
• play outdoor games like tag, Frisbee, soccer, hockey and football
• read or play games with your brother or sister
• help your mom/dad make dinner, or at least dessert!
• clean your room, empty the dishwasher or wash windows
